Lenovo launches Vibe X phablet at Rs 25,999

PC manufacturer, Lenovo, recently launched a high-end phablet in India. It’s now official that Lenovo is trying hard to enter the market of smartphone and phablets in India.  With its Vibe X phablet, Lenovo is definitely trying to emerge, as the company is capable of making powerful computing devices.

It comes with a 5-inch display with 20/20 vision crystal-clear technology, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection for the screen. It is considered as the lightest smartphone in the market at present. It weighs just 121g and has 6.9mm of thickness. On the back of this high-end phablet, it has a 13MP rear camera with BSI sensor. This might help them to earn at least some mileage in the fastest growing phablet craze among consumers.


The BSI sensor allows the camera to a good picture quality support, even in the low light. A series of impressive features gets even better with the 5MP front camera for video calling. The device runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS along with a 1.5GHz quad-core processor. It has 16GB of internal storage and 2GB RAM.

Lenovo also offers some fabulous apps, which comes pre-installed on Vibe X. One of such apps is SHAREit. It allows users to transfer data at maximum of 4Mbps speed. Amar Babu, the Managing Director of Lenovo India shared his views and explained how the phablet has integrated the best of the technologies available in PC and smartphone manufacturing industry. He agreed on the company’s strategy of diversification and acknowledged that Lenovo India is selling more smartphones as compare to PC devices and peripherals.

Vibe X is a flagship smartphone, priced at Rs. 25,999.
