Lenovo to launch the A6000 as low budget smartphone In India

Lenovo is planning to launch its budget 4G phone, the A6000, in India soon. The Chinese device manufacturer had unveiled the phone at the biggest electronic show held earlier in the month in Las Vegas.

Lenovo announced the launch of the device in India as early as this month. The Lenovo A6000 budget phone will be available in India starting this month on the online retail store of Flipkart. The company has allowed Flipkart to be the exclusive authorized dealer of the device in the country as of now.

Lenovo A6000 comes with a powerful 5-inch IPS HD display screen, which comes at a resolution of 720X1920p on the display. The budget smartphone is powered by a 64-bit 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor. Lenovo has fitted the phone with a RAM of 1GB and internal storage space of 8GB. The phone is designed for the Android platform and will be supporting the Android 4.4 KitKat version of the OS. The device will provide Lenovo’s Vibe UI 2.0 custom interface in addition.

Other than the technical specifications, what has been revealed about the smartphone is that it will have both a rear and a front camera. While the front-facing camera will offer 2MP, the rear camera will offer superior resolution of 8MP. In addition, the rear camera also features auto focus and LED flash capabilities.

Lenovo’s A6000 is a dual SIM phone which has provision for 4G LTE support in addition to usual connectivity options such as the 3G and Bluetooth. In addition to this, the device comes with 2300 mAh battery. Lenovo has also incorporated high sound quality in the budget phone using Dolby Digital Plus sound. The smartphone has two speakers mounted in it.

The price for Lenovo A6000 rests at $169 outside of India, but within India, it is expected to be in the range of Micromax’s YU Yureka phone and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G.
