Lenovo K9 with dual front and rear cameras launched in India

Lenovo has launched two new smartphones in India – the Lenovo K9 and Lenovo A5. Both smartphones sport the classic look on the front as they’re devoid of a notch and have significant bezels on the top and bottom.

To begin with, the Lenovo K9 sports a 5.7-inch HD+ display having an aspect ratio of 18:9 and 2.5D glass protection. Under the hood, it gets powered by MediaTek’s MT6762 octa-core processor bundled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in storage. The handset also offers expandable storage up to 128GB via the hybrid microSD card slot.

In the photography department, the Lenovo K9 sports a 13MP+5MP dual rear camera setup. For selfies, the handset is equipped with a 13MP+5MP dual front shooters.

The Lenovo K9 runs Android Oreo and is backed by a 3000mAh battery. Connectivity features on the handset include LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB Type C, as well as a 3.5mm jack.

The Lenovo A5, on the other hand, is also a dual SIM handset that runs ZUI 3.9 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. It packs a 5.45-inch HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D curved glass protection. It gets powered by a 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6739 processor coupled with 2GB or 3GB of RAM. The device comes in 16GB and 32GB storage variants, which is further expandable up to 256GB via microSD slot.

In the photography department, the Lenovo A5 features a 13MP primary camera with f/2.2 aperture, autofocus, and a monochrome flash. For selfies, the handset gets an 8MP front-facing shooter with f/2.2 aperture.

The Lenovo A5 is fuelled by a 4000mAh battery. Connectivity options on the handset include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, microUSB port, along with a 3.5mm jack.

As far as pricing goes, the Lenovo K9 gets a price tag of INR 8,999. The Lenovo A5 will cost INR 5,999 for the 2GB RAM/16GB storage variant and INR 6,999 for the 3GB RAM/32GB storage variant. Both handsets will be available for purchase exclusively via Flipkart.
