Lenovo officially launched A7000 Turbo in India with a 5.5-inch IPS FHD display and 4G. The handset will be available from Lenovo’s official store in black color at Rs 10,999, starting from January 13, 2016.
Lenovo A7000 Turbo includes Gorilla Glass 3 protected display with a pixel density of 401ppi. The display resolution of 1920×1080 pixels enables the device to render crisp images and videos with an increased area for browsing and reading ebooks.
The device also features a 2900mAh Li-Ion battery that has the capability to provide talk time backup of up to 40 hours on 2G and 16 hours on 35.
Lenovo claims that the device offers 11 days of standby time. We expect that the smartphone of this range should be packed with Li-Po battery for enhanced performance.
Talking about general specifications, the Lenovo A7000 Turbo features 64-bit MediaTek MT6752 octa-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, USG OTG and sensors. The internal storage can be expanded up to 32GB.
The handset is powered by Android 5.0 Lollipop integrated with Vibe UI 2.0 and Dolby Atmos speaker. We expect Lenovo to provide Android Marshmallow update by the end of Q1 2016.
The primary camera of Lenovo A7000 Turbo packs a 13MP dual-LED flash OmniVision OV13850 with five lens element. Lenovo has included a different variant of Omnivision lens with 5MP capacity in the front-facing camera department.
Lenovo claims that the integrated Dolby speaker provides an incredible 360-degree sound experience not available in other competing smartphones. Lenovo A7000 Turbo will compete with the recently launched Asus ZenFone Max, Redmi Note Prime and CoolPad Note 3.
The handset provides support for both FDD-LTE 1800MHz Band 3 and TDD-LTE 2300MHz Band 40 bands. Lenovo has designed A7000 Turbo similar to that of K3 Note, which the company released seven months back. Interestingly, Lenovo K4 Note was launched last week exclusively via Amazon at Rs. 11,999.
