Lenovo has launched the Lenovo A7000 Plus smartphone in the Philippines. A successor to the company’s Lenovo A7000 is all set to go on sale via an e-commerce website — Lazada, at a price tag of PHP 7,999 (approximately Rs. 11,400).

Lenovo A7000 Plus sports a 5.5-inch touchscreen display with 1920 x 1080 pixels full HD resolution. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system out of the box.

Powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 chipset coupled 2GB RAM, the Lenovo A7000 Plus offers internal storage of 16GB, which can be expanded with the help of microSD.

The dual-SIM Lenovo A7000 Plus has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, as well as 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone comes bundled with a 3,000mAh battery.

The 4G-ccompatible Lenovo A7000 Plus has connectivity options such as Wi-Fi 802.11 b/ g/ n, GPS, Bluetooth, FM. The device doesn’t offer options such as NFC and Wi-Fi Direct.

Lenovo A7000 Plus features Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Barometer. The smartphone features speakers powered by Dolby Atmos technology.

Last week, Lenovo officially started rolling out Android 5.0 Lollipop OTA update to its Lenovo A6000 and A6000 Plus devices in India.
