LeEco to reportedly show off Snapdragon 823-powered flagship at MWC 2016

If reports from the Chinese Media are to be believed, then LeEco is supposedly working on a flagship which will be powered by the brand new Snapdragon 823. The company might announce the same during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016, which is scheduled to take place between 29th June – 1st July.

With Le Max Pro, LeEco received critical acclaims for launching the first Snapdragon 820 powered smartphone. Now, it seems that the Chinese company is planning to add another title to its cart.

As of now, most of the companies are using the equally capable Snapdragon 820 for powering their flagships.
So, it is almost safe to say that the SD820 is currently the best processor in the market but this might change sooner than we think.

Even though both the processors (SD820 and SD823) are kindred in terms of functioning, there is no denying that the SD823 does have an edge over its predecessor.

Unequivocally, it is a little faster than the SD820 and if not it’s USP, it is definitely something which can attract the smartphone manufacturers and LeEco is a testament to this.

In addition, there has been news regarding Asus using the same processor to power an Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe variant. Anticipating the market trend, Snapdragon 820 has still got a long journey to cover. SD823 is better but not better enough to wipe out its predecessor, yet. And moreover, SD820 entered the market around February this year and Qualcomm likes to take a year before introducing its new chips.

However, if Qualcomm decides to make a subtle change in its policy by launching the SD823 in the coming month(s), it might just be the time to dethrone the present king of processors, only to be replaced by its faster sibling.

Meanwhile, LeEco has launched two new devices – LeEco Le 2 and LeEco Le Max 2 in India at a price of Rs. Rs. 11, 999 and Rs. 22,999 respectively. Know about the phone details on Pc-Tablet.
