LeEco has announced a brand new grey colored version of the popular Le 2. The new LeEco Le 2 Grey will soon be available for purchase from Flipkart and LeMall. Till now, the company has only been selling the rose gold variant of the Le 2 in India.
The LeEco Le 2 is one of the best mid-range smartphones currently available in the country. The phone sports a 5.5-inch Full HD 1080p display. The multi-touch screen has a pixel density of 403 pixels per inch. This is an in-cell screen with the digitizer and display panel integrated together. The phone boasts a high color gamut of 80 percent NTSC.
LeEco Le 2 Specs
The octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 SoC sits inside the smartphone. The 64-bit processor has four high-performance ARM Cortex A72 cores running at 1.8 GHz each and four power-efficient Cortex A53 cores with a clock speed of 1.4 GHz each. An Adreno 510 GPU handles the graphics output.
The Le 2 packs in 3 GB of LPDDR3 RAM along with 32 GB of internal memory. There is no provision for adding an external memory card. The phone runs on LeEco’s own EUI 5.6 layered on top of the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
A 16MP autofocus camera sits at the back of the device. The camera features a CMOS sensor with back illumination with f/2.0 aperture size. Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) is also there. The rear camera can shoot 4K videos at 30fps along with slow motion 720p videos at 120 fps. The selfie camera is an 8 MP unit with 76.5 degrees wide angle lens. The front camera features a large f/2.2 aperture.
The Le 2 comes with double SIM slots with dual standby support. Both the SIM slots support 4G LTE but not simultaneously. The smartphone supports every 4G LTE bands across in India. Other connectivity options of the phone include dual band 2.4 GHz + 5 GHz 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth V4.1, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, etc.
A finger print sensor with mirror finish sits just below the rear camera of the phone. The handset comes with an infra-red emitter, using which you can control the TVs, Air Conditioners, etc. There is also an Electronic Compass, 3D Gyroscope, Light Sensor and proximity sensor. The phone sports the brand new USB 3.1 Type-C port for faster data transfer and quick charging.
A 3000mAh non-removable Lithium-ion battery juices up the device. The rose gold colored LeEco Le 2 is currently sold in India for Rs.11999 at Flipkart and LeMall.
