On January 17, Lava is all set to launch its new flagship model – Lava Iris Pro. The company has already started sending out press invites for the launch (And we have also received one). Iris Pro series stands out as Lava’s most ambitious smartphone. The media organizations are being invited to be the part of the launch, which will be taking place in New Delhi.
The rumors of the launch of the Iris Pro series have been floating in the cyber world and market since August last year. However, at that time the flagship model was still in its development stage. Finally, Lava is all set to unveil the model and bring it before the world.
The company might have set the stage for the launch of Lava Iris pro series, but very little is known about its price, feature and specification until date. According to analysts, the smartphone features a fully laminated touch panel and a 4.7-inch display with a Corning Gorilla Glass base.
Additionally, the Japanese LCD manufacturer SHARP has built the technology for the display screen of the smartphone; being rumored. Lava has already published the pictures, and suggests, the device weighs 114 grams. We can expect that this will be a lightweight smartphone, which will be handy and pocket friendly.
Also, from the pictures booming online, this smartphone looks like a smart slim phone with a sleek design. This is also evident from the taglines being used by Lava in its micro site for the promotion of this upcoming model such as “Smart meets Art” and “Picass meets Einstien”.
In addition, to keep up with the current trend this smartphone is also expected to run on Android Jelly Bean version. Like most smartphones, Iris Pro will have an Android 4.x as its operating system and might be powered by a quad core processor.
