Lamborghini Launches New Luxury Phone ‘Alpha-One’ For $2,500

Tonino Lamborghini which is the smartphone subsidiary of luxury sports carmaker Lamborghini has officially marked the debut of the latest addition to its flagship of Android smartphones portfolio and the phone is as costly as a Lamborghini car. The Italian carmaker – Lamborghini which is esteemed for its range of extremely luxurious coupes, has launched its latest smartphone at a price that not everyone can afford. Named as “Alpha-One,” the phone costs $2,500 or Approximately Rs. 1, 60, 000 in Indian currency.

According to Tonino Lamborghini, the new Alpha-One is a “signature smartphone” which is made with the ‘finest materials.’ As officially said, just like the precisely handcrafted Italian leather and a liquid alloy which is more robust than titanium, the phone is also built specifically to resist corrosion and give users a premium feel.The phone has come with a price that will never fit any middle-class person’s budget. Just like the high priced range of its sports car ranges, the phone also costs $2,500 upfront.

The new Lamborghini-branded handset is currently presented for purchase in the markets of the UK and UAE. The sale of this premium handset is scheduled to go on from this week at Harrods Mall in the United Kingdom and Dubai Mall in the UAE. Regarding features and specs, the luxury phone is shipped with dual-SIM support. Featuring a 5.5-inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution, the Alpha-One is powered by a Snapdragon 820 chip and 4GB RAM. In the storage department, the phone boasts a 64GB Internal memory.

At its rear panel, the phone holds an impressive 20-megapixel camera which is empowered by features like optical and digital stabilization. Moreover, it also packs the Dolby dual speaker for delivering premium sound quality. In the front part, the phone sports an 8-megapixel front-facing camera and also fingerprint sensor for quick recognition. Backed by a 3,250 mAH battery, the phone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.

For the very first time, Lamborghini launched its first Android phone in 2015, named as 88 Tauri and Antares. In contrast to them, the Alpha One looks less profligate but is still as expensive as they are.
