The 2018 Jawa 350 Special has been officially unveiled. That said, the bike is not likely to make its way to Indian shores. The Czech motorbike manufacturer has debuted the cafĂ© racer for the European market, making it the company’s third offering in Europe.

The new 2018 Jawa 350 Special reminds one of those old-school cafe racer motorcycles, all thanks to the rounded headlamps on the front, retro colour scheme, and the old-school exhaust pipes. Not to mention, the bike also comes with a flat seat complete with a bum stop, further adding to its overall demeanour of a typical racing bike from the 1960s or 1970s.

Under the hood, the Jawa 350 Special gets powered by a 397cc parallel twin engine that churns out 27.6 bhp at 6500rpm and a peak torque of 30.6 Nm at 5000 rpm. Apparently, it shares the same engine as the Jawa 350 OHC, though weighs nearly 11kgs more than the 350 OHC. The 2018 Jawa 350 Special weighs-in at 171 kg and comes with a fuel tank capacity of 17-litres.

As already mentioned, the new Jawa 350 Special will not be available in India, though we might see a Jawa-branded motorcycle in the country early next year.
In case you didn’t know, Mahindra acquired 60 percent stake in Classic legends in 2016, a company which has the exclusive rights to sell Java branded Motorcycles in several countries.

Mahindra will reportedly start production of Jawa Motorcycles in Mahindra’s production facility in Pithampur by July 2018. The Jawa brand’s 660 Vintage and 350 OHC are expected to make their way into India, however, it’s still unclear whether 2018 Jawa 350 Special will also make its way to Indian shores.
