The Chinese smartphone manufacturer iTel has now unveiled yet another budget smartphone in India, dubbed as iTel A44 Power, offering dual cameras and a large battery as its main highlights.
It will apparently succeed the iTel A44 & A44 Pro smartphones which were launched back in March, this year. Moving on, as the name suggests, the handset is mainly targeted to offer a good battery life alongside decent cameras at an affordable price.
“Itel A44 Power brings with it the powerful 4,000mAh Li-Polymer battery for our target audience along with 5.45-inch FWVGA+ ‘Full Screen’ Display and dual rear cameras at a budget-friendly price point,” said Goldee Patnaik, Head of Marketing itel Business Unit, during the launch.
iTel A44 Power Specifications
The iTel A44 Power sports a 5.45-inch display with FWGA+ resolution of 480×960 pixels in an 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it is powered by a 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at up to 1.4GHz, and coupled with 1GB of RAM. Further, it packs a meagre 8GB of onboard storage which can be expanded up to 32GB via a MicroSD card.
As mentioned, the phone bears a dual camera setup at the rear, featuring a 5-megapixel primary camera paired with a VGA (0.3-megapixel) secondary camera. Whereas, at the front, we have a 2-megapixel camera unit. Both the front and rear cameras are accompanied by LED flashlights.
On the software front, the A44 Power runs Android 8.1 Oreo (Go edition) that delivers flawless performance even with the low-end specs. It is backed by a large 4000mAh battery which is touted to deliver around 3 days of endurance. The handset also supports “OTG Reverse Charging” feature to charge other devices.
Note that the phone lacks a fingerprint scanner and relies on face unlock instead. Connectivity options include dual SIM slots, 4G VoLTE and ViLTE.
iTel A44 Power Price & Availability
The iTel A44 Power will go on sale across the nation starting from November 19 in Aqua Blue, Champagne Gold, and Deep Grey colour variants. For a price of Rs. 5,999, the company is also bundling a 100-day replacement warranty with the device.
