Apple iPhone 7 and 7 Plus price out, India launch by next month

Apple today has launched the much-awaited iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, San Francisco. The next generation of iPhone is water and dust resistant and capacity, features 12MP rear camera, and comes with Apple’s latest iOS 10. You might miss the 3.5mm headphone jack on iPhone 7 as Apple has swapped it with a lightning cable to 3.5mm jack converter that comes bundled with the phone itself.

iPhone 7 and 7 Plus Specifications

The iPhone 7 has a 4.7-inch Retina HD display and the iPhone 7 Plus has a Retina HD display of 5.5-inch. Both the smartphones display offer wide color gamut. Unfortunately, as there were rumors, there is no Apple iPhone 7 Pro version. The processor powering the device is the Apple’s new A10 Fusion chipset, which as per Apple is the fastest on any smartphone.

The camera specs of iPhone 7 are 12MP rear and 7MP HD front. The Plus version of iPhone 7 has a dual camera at the back, which includes two 12 MP cameras. The secondary camera is a 7MP HD shooter. With increased processor and GPU, the battery capacity has also increased. The battery life of iPhone 7 and 7 Plus is the longest ever on any iPhone. The base model of iPhone 7 series starts with 32GB and there are two other models – 32GB, 128GB, and 256GB.

iPhone 7 and 7 Plus India launch

The iPhone 7 series will be available in India early next month, from October 7. The official statement from Apple says –

iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will also be available to customers in India beginning Friday, October 7.

iPhone 7 and 7 Plus Price and Colors

The iPhone 7 and the Plus version have launched in the US as of now and will go on sale from September ­­16. Interested buyers can pre-order the same from September 9. The iPhone 7 series will be available in five color options – Gold, Silver, Rose Gold, jet black finish, and a new black finish.

Apple has confirmed that iPhone 7 price will start from Rs. 60,000 for 32GB model. The new jet black finish will be offered exclusively in 128GB and 256GB models from Apple Authorised Resellers and select carriers.
