Intex unveils Android 4.4 KitKat-based Aqua Curve Mini at Rs. 7,290

Indian smartphone manufacturer, Intex has unveiled another entry-level Dual-SIM budget smartphone in the Indian market for Rs. 7,290. With the launch of Intex Aqua Curve Mini, company has come up with its third smartphone to run Android 4.4 KitKat operating system followed by Intex Aqua i14 and Aqua N15, which got introduced couple of weeks back.

The Android 4.4.2 KitKat-powered Aqua Curve Mini is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) handset, and sports 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS display with 854 x 480 pixels resolution. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, and 1GB RAM. Intex Aqua Curve Mini supports 4GB internal storage, which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.

Intex Aqua Curve Mini has got an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash, and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes equipped with 1,500mAh battery. On the connectivity front, Intex Aqua Curve Mini offers Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, FM Radio, and GPS options.

Commenting on the launch, Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, business head- mobiles, said “Within one week of the launch of our first Aqua smartphone on KitKat OS, we have introduced another Aqua smartphone with KitKat OS in the market. Available at a very affordable price, Aqua Curve mini is a stylish and chic smartphone equipped with all the advanced features which will surely strike a chord with the new age user.”

According to the company, the new Aqua Curve Mini is focused at students and young professionals in Tier 2 and 3 urban areas of India. The Intex Aqua Curve Mini is all situated to strengthen the sub-Rs. 8,000 portion, which as of now incorporates Android 4.4 KitKat-based Lava Iris X1, Moto E, Xolo Q1000 Opus, Micromax Canvas Engage and Unite 2.
