According to a report dated July 17, 2015, Korean auto maker Hyundai is all geared up for the release of its compact SUV Creta on July 21.
But an alleged document has already emerged showing the expected prices of the new model.
Posted on Auto Car India forum by an auto enthusiast, the report displays the prices for new Hyundai Creta.
If the paper has any authority, it seems that Hyundai’s Creta will hit Indian markets with a price of Rs. 9.14 lakh, Ex-Showroom Pune.
Hyundai hasn’t revealed much about Creta, but the market is abuzz that will lock horns with competitors like Renault Duster and Ford EcoSport.
If the leaked prices can be considered indicators, that it seems that Creta is priced a tad higher than both the rivals it is designed to take on.
For now, what is known is the fact that Hyundai Creta SUV will be available with 1.6 and 1.4 diesel and 1.6 petrol engines under the hood.
There will also be six variants of the model, namely Creta Base, Creta S, Creta S+, Creta SX, Creta SX+ and Creta SX(O).
Creta Base, Creta S and Creta SX+ will be powered by a 1.6 petrol engine while S and S+ variants will have the 1.4 diesel engine.
Big range of features is also expected including ABS, 2-DIN music system and 16-inch wheels.
Other features expected are height adjustable seat belts, Rear parking camera, and chrome door handles.
Hyundai dealers are already taking bookings for Creta for the down payment of Rs. 50,000 and 10,000 reservations have already been registered so far.
