The Chinese smartphone giant Huawei has now further expanded its budget smartphone portfolio with the launch of Huawei Y7 Pro (2019). Intended for 2019, the device is announced in Vietnam and already up for sale on the company’s official site since yesterday.

The key highlights of the Huawei Y7 Pro (2019) are its modern design with a dew-drop notch, dual rear cameras, and a large 4,000mAh battery.

The all-new Huawei Y7 Pro (2019) sports a 6.26-inch IPS display with a full-HD+ resolution of 720×1520 pixels. It further flaunts a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, thanks to the smaller notch on top.

Under the hood, the device gets powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC, coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. Moreover, the phone incorporates 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The given microSD card slot allows for further storage expansion of up to 512GB.

In the optics, the Y7 Pro (2019) bears a dual camera setup at the rear. The installation comprises a single 13-megapixel shooter with f/1.8 aperture and LED flash alongside a secondary 2-megapixel sensor with a f/2.4 aperture for depth sensing. There’s also a 16-megapixel front camera for selfies.

On the software front, the device boots EMUI 8.2 on top of Android 8 Oreo. All of this is fueled up by a massive 4,000mAh battery. Note that the handset lacks fingerprint scanner and instead relies on face unlock.

The handset gets a bunch of basic sensors including the Ambient light sensor, gyroscope, and proximity sensor. Lastly, the connectivity options on the phone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It measures 158.92×76.91×8.1mm and weighs about 168 grams.

The Huawei Y7 Pro (2019) has been priced at VND 39,90,000 (roughly Rs. 11,900) in Vietnam for the sole model with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. The smartphone is available in Aurora Blue and Black colour options.
