Huawei Honor Note 8 with 6.6-inch QHD display and 13MP camera launched

Honor has brought forth in the Chinese market, the Honor Note 8 today at the Huawei Exhibition Center in Beijing, China. The device will be in all probability lock horns with Xiaomi’s Mi Max by offering a gigantic 6.6-inch QHD display.

The device runs on the HiSilicon Kirin 955 SoC and a Mali-T880 MP4 GPU which is akin to that seen in the Huawei P9. The gadget boasts a 4GB RAM and is available with 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB storage ability. The Honor Note 8 has a primary camera of 13 MegaPixel capabilities and a secondary camera with an incredible 8MP capability for an excellent view while taking selfies and video chatting.

The smartphone which borders the phablet specifications measures 178.8 × 90.9 × 7.18mm and weighs 219g. It will hit the shelves across mainland China from August 9. The 32 GB version will carry a price tag of ¥2,299 ($345). The 64 GB issue will go for ¥2,499 ($375) and the 128GB for ¥2,799 ($420).The Note 8 is about 100 dollars more than Mi Max, but it must be borne in mind that it offers a much better QHD screen and a more powerful SoC. There is very little information about when the device will be available globally.

The Honor line is getting a lot of attention because of the incredible specifications and economy price range. The latest Honor Note 8 features an Octa-Core 2.3 GHz chip which will power its amazing features. The device comes pre-installed with the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and is expected to be upgraded to Android Nougat when it is released by Google in the coming months.

With the release of its phablet-sized device, the company will concentrate on the release of its next flagship Smartphone, Huawei Honor 8.

The device is expected to hit the US markets on August 16 and will change the scene with its impressive specs and features. It has already obtained the FCC certificate which will enable it to rub shoulders with the major Smartphone in the US market today. The device boasts a 5.2-inch full HD screen and runs on the powerful 950 processor complemented with either 3 or 4GB of RAM.
