Honor 8 Pro

The device features a fingerprint and infrared sensor, runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with Emotion UI 5.1. It has 4G LTE enabled, WiFi 802.11ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C on board.

In our initial impression of the device, we found the handset to be extremely good looking with a sleek design. Nevertheless, with Kirin 960 on board with 6GB RAM, the handset should perform fairly well. The transition across the apps is relatively smooth, and heating is under control. The QHD display produces vibrant color with crisp viewing angle and excellent sunlight legibility.

The camera department features a 12-megapixel Monochrome and 12MP RGB lens (borrowed from Leica) with F/2.2 aperture, produce some nice shots in daylight with crisp detail. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calls. All in all, with the launch of OnePlus 5, the competition is heated up in the High-end market segment, So the pricing should be very crucial here. Honor 8 seems to be a promising contender with its top notch design and hardware.
