Huawei’s Honor brand has launched the Honor 8 Pro smartphone in India. The device sports a large 5.7-inches Quad HD display and is powered by the Kirin 960 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage. The device comes with 12-megapixel rear cameras with dual tone LED flash.

Pricing and Availability: The Honor 8 Pro comes in Navy Blue, Midnight Black, and Platinum Gold colors and is priced at Rs.29,999. The device will be available from Amazon.in from 10th July at 6 PM for Prime users during Prime Day sale. Open sale on Amazon.in will begin from July 13th. The company is offering 15% cashback on HDFC debit and credit cards. Once the device goes on open sale, it will be available with no cost EMI for up to 12 months and 45GB free data for Vodafone customers for 5 months.

Honor 8 Pro Specifications: The Honor 8 Pro packs a massive 5.7-inches Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) LTPS 2.5D curved glass display and is powered by the company’s own Kirin 960 SoC clocked at 2.4GHz Octa-Core processor with Mali G71 Octa-core GPU. It has a 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage that is further expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card slot. The Honor 8 Pro runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with Emotion UI 5.1 right out of the box.

Talking about the camera department, the Honor 8 Pro rocks a  12-megapixel (Monochrome) + 12-megapixel (RGB) Dual rear cameras with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, with 4K video recording capability. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel shooter with f/2.0 aperture for better selfies and video chats. The device rocks a Fingerprint Sensor Infrared sensor and the device box also works as VR glass. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C. A 4000mAh battery with fast charging support is on board.
