HTC has just announced that its smartphone U Play will soon be available for sale in the Indian market at INR 29,990. It will be available on Amazon exclusively. Special offers include no cost EMI purchase for a limited period of time.
The 5.2-inch display smartphone is said to have an internal memory of 64GB (expandable up to 2TB via microSD) and a RAM of 4GB. The 3D contoured liquid surface and a lustrous, symmetrical, curved glass construction contributes a lot to the display.
It has a 16-megapixel rear camera with a BSI sensor, OIS, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture and dual-tone LED flash. The front camera is 16-megapixel with an UltraPixel mode, a BSI sensor, and an f/2.0 aperture.

HTC is known to come up with high priced devices. However, this one comes after a price cut of INR 10,000 from the international market. About time the company realised that selling high priced phones in India isn’t always a good idea.
