HTC extended its desire line of smartphones on Thursday, May 26th with the release of Desire 628, Desire 630, Desire 825 and Desire 830. The prices for the HTC Desire 630 and 830 have not been announced by the company, but the former is expected to be made available around June 14th.
HTC Desire 628
The HTC Desire 628 has been announced at a price of Rs. 13,990, to be available sometime in June. The phone comes with dual-SIM capabilities and sports a 5-inch HD display screen. It runs on a 1.3Ghz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 chipset and houses 3GB of RAM. The device comes along with 32GB of internal storage which expandable up to 2TB externally, is powered by a 2200mAh battery and runs on Android’s Lollipop 5.1 running HTC’s Sense UI atop it.
The rear of the smartphone houses a 13MP camera lens with LED flash and a 5MP front-camera for video calls. The front also houses dual BoomSound speakers co-powered by Dolby Audio. The phone can be purchased in colors of Cobalt White and Sunset Blue.
HTC Desire 630
The HTC Desire 630 was unveiled at MWC 2016 and comes along with a 5-inch HD display screen, a quad-core 1.6GHz Snapdragon 400 chipset, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage memory. The phone sports a 13MP rear camera along with a 5MP front lens. A 2200mAh battery powers the smartphone while it runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0.
HTC Desire 825
The Desire 825 was announced at the MWC 2016 alongside the Desire 630 and is available for a price of Rs. 18,990. The phone features single SIM compatibility and comes with the much the same specifications as the Desire 630, apart from a few differences. The phone has a larger 5.5 inch LCD screen, with the same Snapdragon 400 chipset, Adreno 305 GPU, and 2GB of RAM. With 16GB of internal storage, the phone comes with a larger battery at 2,700mAh. You’ll find a 13MP camera on the rear as well as a 5MP camera on the front. The device ships with Android’s latest Marshmallow pre-loaded onto it.
The phone can be purchased in the colors of Golden Graphite and Sparkle White.
HTC Desire 830
The HTC Desire 830 comes with a 5.5-inch full-HD display screen, runs on a 1.5GHz MediaTek Helio X10 chipset, houses 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The rear of the phone sports a 13MP camera while the front has a 4 ultra-pixel lens. The phone is powered by a 2800mAh battery and is shipped with Android Marshmallow 6.0. The phones will be made available in the colours of Blue and Red.
