HTC Desire 10 Pro, HTC 10 evo launched in India: Features, specifications and price

HTC has launched Desire 10 Pro with a 5.5-inch FHD IPS display in stone black, polar white, royal blue and valentine lux color variants at Rs. 26490. HTC also announced the launch of HTC 10 Evo. The HTC Desire Pro will be available from December 15.

Commenting on the launch, Faisal Siddiqui, President-South Asia, HTC disclosed that the Desire 10 Pro is inspired by many of the same innovations that have made the flagship HTC 10 the most brilliant Desire ever. The HTC 10 evo also showcases the same focus on driving the evolution of smartphones especially in terms of audio technology.

HTC Desire 10 Pro features BoomSound speakers

The main highlight of HTC Desire 10 Pro is that it provides support for 24-bit Hi-Res audio and Dolby-enhanced BoomSound speakers. Moreover, you will be able to make use of fingerprint sensor to capture selfies or to record a selfie video. The sensor has been designed in such a way that it recognizes the fingerprint from every angle and position.

Coming to the design, the HTC Desire 10 Pro comes with metallic frame, fingerprint sensor, and a 150-degree ultra wide-angle selfie camera. The HTC Desire 10 Pro is equipped with a 5.5-inch FHD IPS Corning Gorilla Glass protected display.

Talking about the internals, the phone features an Helio P10 octa-core processor, 4GB RAM alongside 64GB of internal storage. You will be able to extend the storage up to 2TB.

The rear camera offers a 20MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture, LED flash, and laser auto-focus. On the front, you will find a 13MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture. The phone will be an excellent addition for selfie enthusiasts. A 3000mAh battery supplies the required power for the handset.

With support for dual-SIM, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS functionality, the HTC Desire 10 Pro is loaded with Android 6.0 Marshmallow on top of HTC Sense UI.

According to HTC, the adaptive audio technology adjusts the audio output based on the ambient noise to offer customized experience. The phone also provides support for Hi-Res 24-bit audio.

The HTC 10 evo offers 16MP rear camera with support for OIS and ultra-fast autofocus. The unique Pro mode enables you to control your smartphone effectively. The phone also ships with an 8MP front-facing snapper.

The HTC 10 evo is loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, which enables you to experience all the new features such as split-screen view, quicker multitasking, new security settings, and much more. The phone will be available in Gunmetal and Pearl Gold colors.
