HTC 10 with 5.2- inch display launch on May 26 in India

HTC is all set to launch its flagship smartphone HTC 10 in India on 26th of May 2016. The phone was unveiled back in this Year. HTC had made this announcement it by sending invites to the media and hopefully the phone will arrive in stores immediately after the launch.

Specification

The HTC 10 comes with a 5.2- inch large display with 1440X2560 QHD resolution display, with curved edged Gorilla Glass, IP68 with water and dust resistance.

The phone is powered by 2.15 GHz Snapdragon 820 processor and runs on Android v6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system.

The phone is available in in two different variants, i.e., with 32GB and 64GB of internal memory, which can be extended up to 200GB with the help of microSD card.

On camera front the device offer 12MP rear camera and 5MP front camera for selfies. The phone also features world’s first Optical Image Stabilization in both front and back cameras. The device camera is one of the highest smartphone ranking camera ever from DxOMark.

On connectivity ground, the smartphone supports, USB Type- C port, Bluetooth 4.2 Wi-fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac connectivity. And include G LTE support.

HTC 10 also features compass sensor, fingerprint sensor, Accelerometer and proximity sensor.The device is packed with 300 mAh battery.

Competitors

As LG G5 and Samsung’s Galaxy S7 Flagship are already available in the market. It will be quite interesting to see how the HTC 10 will compete these giants device. The HTC 10 is expected to be priced around 50, 000 and that is competitive.

Earlier there were some reports of HTC offering a watered down variant called HTC 10 lifestyle to its Indian audience. Finally, HTC India clarified that they would indeed be launching the real flagship HTC 10 in India too.
