Honda launches all-new Accord Hybrid in India: Check price and availability details

Honda has launched Honda Accord Hybrid for Rs. 37 lakh, which is the ex-showroom price in Delhi. According to sources, the latest variant of Honda Accord is a completely built unit (CBU). The main attraction of Honda Accord Hybrid is the integration of all-LED headlamps alongside daytime running lamps. Moreover, the latest model isn’t as long or wide when compared to its previous counterparts. However, the vehicle is slightly taller.

Honda Accord Hybrid Design and Interior

On the design front, the Honda Accord Hybrid has been infused with 18-inch alloy wheels and all-LED tail lamps. You will find traces of the blue color in the lamps and around the grille because of the Hybrid system.

Talking about the interiors, the Honda Accord Hybrid looks plush and dressed in beige-black theme. You will find two screens on the centre console. While the top display works as the multi-information display and the navigation, the bottom screen handles infotainment elements.

Honda Accord Hybrid also features blind spot detection, which enables a camera mounted on the left wing mirror springs to life the moment you indicate left. Some of the other popular features of the new vehicle are leather upholstery including integration of Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, dual-zone climate control and electrically adjustable front seats.

It is possible to move the co-passenger seat forward or reclined from the rear, by using buttons mounted on the shoulder of the seat.

Honda Accord Hybrid Specifications

On the specifications front, the large Accord Hybrid is powered by a 2.0-litre petrol motor coupled with a 1.35kWh electric powerhouse with 215PS of power. Moreover, the hybrid comes with three new driving modes such as EV, Hybrid Drive, and Engine Drive.

The transmission duties are precisely handled by an e-CVT gearbox. Furthermore, the ARAI certified fuel economy is rated at 23.1kmpl.

To recall, the Accord series was discontinued a few years back. With the launch of Accord Hybrid variant, the company has re-launched it in a new avatar. The new Accord Hybrid will have to compete with the Skoda Superb and Toyota Camry.
