Honda Cars India Limited (HCIL) has decided to expand its Amaze line-up by introducing a new variant – Amaze SX. Equipped with the new safety packages, SX variant is positioned above the “S” variant and is being offered in both petrol and diesel guise. The petrol SX is priced at Rs. 6.22 lakh, while the diesel variant comes at Rs. 7.12 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Automobile major Honda believes that the Amaze is the best-selling sedan car in India, attracting customers from various quarters. It decided to offer a new variant with added safety features in both petrol and diesel options. In addition to the features available in Amaze S, the SX gets twin front airbags and Anti-Locking Braking System (ABS), which are standard in petrol and diesel models.

The diesel variant, developed specifically for the Indian market, comes with a 1.5 i-DTEC engine and offers a fuel efficiency of 25.8 kmpl, making it the one of the most fuel-efficient diesel cars in the Indian market.
