Hike, the first messaging platform developed in India has been launched for Windows Phone 8.1 platform. The release numbered 3.5 includes new features such as revamped user interface, file sharing, groups and privacy controls.

Hike 3.5 includes ten new chat themes and also provides the ability for the users to share file and attachments that are up to 100MB.

With the help of Hike 3.5, you will be able to share files with a broad range of formats which includes PDF, ZIP and Microsoft Office. It is also possible to create groups with maximum 500 members to share and interact with each other.

For instance, you can establish a group for your college class and interact with your classmates even after passing out. The latest release enables you to have multiple administrators for each group.

Hike 3.5 has added features to control privacy. You will be able to hide those chats that you would like to keep private and can also protect them with a password. Hence, you will have complete control your chat sessions. Moreover, you will have an ability to hide content from the push notification.

The latest release of Hike enables you to express opinions with awesome stickers including the ability to deliver SMS to those users who don’t have Hike. We verified the stickers shop and found great collection including that of latest films and other characters.

Hike 3.5 has added a new feature with which an SMS will be automatically delivered to your contact if they are offline without incurring any cost on your part.

According to official sources, the new black theme that can be activated from the Settings option will not cause any eye strain and is battery friendly. You will be able to send multiple messages in the form of pictures, videos and text to more than one friend.

As of September 2015, Hike has crossed over 70 million users since its initial launch on December 12, 2012.

In addition to Windows Phone, Hike is also available on Android, iOS and few limited versions of Blackberry.
