Google with Myntra.com to introduce Shoppable Hangout in India

The search giant, Google is all set to introduce the Indian online consumers with unique experience of chatting, browsing and buying the products simultaneously, named Shoppable Hangout.

Introduced in May 2013, Google Hangout is a new instant messaging and video chatting platform developed by the Google Inc. The Hangout has replaced three previously developed messaging products and promises to provide better-informed engagement among the masses.

Hangout allows its users to interact in a more personalized manner that makes group conversations with use of emoji, shared photos, better than ever. One can message a friend even if he or she is offline and receive alerts about unread items.

Therefore, Google is all set to introduce its new Shoppable Hangout to India, in association with Myntra.com on January 20, 2014.

To add some spice, Myntra has roped in famous Bollywood actor, Hrithik Roshan, who will also share his personal, invaluable tips on style and taste on his personal collections.

Hrithik is likely to highlight his own private collection of apparels, brand named HRX, and the online portal Myntra, with its huge accumulation of apparels, accessories across all brands. Google is looking ahead to promote such conferences and interaction to encourage more and more people, frequent use of its products.

The advantage for retailers and designers will be promoting their collections through Hangout and attempt convincing consumers to buy them. Google with Myntra and Hrithik Roshan is trying to bring e-commerce and social media closer to people, which will be a win-win situation for all the stake holders.
