Google Maps now allow Indian users to save parking location on Maps

Google Maps has finally rolled out the save parking location of your vehicle feature for Indian users. The beta version of this feature was announced last month by Google and not implemented to use in the latest version of Google Maps for iOS and Android users.

Android users can tap on the blue dot on the screen and then select the ‘save your parking’ option to add it. It will allow users to find their cars easily from the label on their map. Additional details like the level of parking and meter timing just make it simpler. It is as simple as it sounds.

It is the same for iOS users. They can tap on the blue dot to save the parking location.

Jeff Albertson, Product Manager of Google Maps said, “This is in addition to the automatic parking detection you might have already noticed in Google Maps for iOS. If you connect to your car using USB audio or Bluetooth, your parking spot will be automatically added to the map when you disconnect and exit the vehicle.”

This new feature is the handiest one in the recent times from Google Maps. Surely when navigation stepped into the game, everything just changed for the better, this one is also bound to make lives easier.
