Gionee S6 with 3GB RAM, 4G VoLTE support recently launched in India at Rs. 19,999. Launched in China back in 2015, Gionee unveiled its metal clad S6 smartphone in India. On the India shopping portal of the company, the smartphone is listed as ‘coming soon’ but one can buy it from Flipkart at the same price.

Boasting of a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display along with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, the Gionee S6 is powered by a 1.3 octa-core MediaTek processor coupled with 3 GB of RAM and offers 32GB of internal storage, which is further expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card.

On the camera front, the Gionee S6 comes equipped with a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera along with LED flash as well as a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Users can enjoy various camera modes such as GIF, HDR, magic focus, burst mode, panorama mode, night mode and much more.

The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system out-of-the-box. Being fuelled by a 3150mAh battery, Gionee claims to deliver 384 hours of standby time and 18 hours of talk time on 3G network.

The handset features various sensors like gyroscope, motion sensor, ambient light sensor, magnetometer, accelerometer and proximity sensors. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi hotspot, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, 4G LTE, GPS, USB OTG, USB Type-C, and Bluetooth 4.0.
