For Honor: Pre-order, Release Date, Collector’s Edition announced

For Honor release date, and collector’s edition listing has reportedly been revealed. In addition, UbiSoft has also revealed that the highly-anticipated title is all set for a launch on February 14, 2017.

Besides, GameStop has also listed the pre-order price for the game’s collector’s edition titled For Honor Apollyon Collector’s Edition at $219.99. The collector’s edition includes a 14-inch highly-detailed Apollyon statue made by TriForce, an exclusive Apollyon Lithograph, along with origin notes. In addition, it’ll get Premium Collector’s Edition packaging.

That said, the game’s Apollyon Collector’s edition is only listed for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. For Honor launches on February 14, 2017 on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the PC as well.

To recall,the game was initially unveiled at the 2015 Electronic Entertainment Expo. It’s an all-out hack and slash video game featuring hand-to-hand combat. Ubisoft Montreal calls it ‘The Art of Battle’ which allows gamers to don the role o historical fighters such as the likes of Vikings, Samurai and Knights.

The game is set in a medieval fantasy setting, where gamers get to play as character from three different factions – the Legion, the Chosen and the Warborn. Each faction is further characterized into four different classes – the  Vanguard, the Assassins, and the Heavies.

Every class gets its own set of skill sets, weapons and fighting styles. For instance, the Assassins are supposed to be fat but yield less damage on their opponents. While Heavies are equipped to take more damage but are slow in their attacks.

And apart from the single player campaign, For Honor features five multiplayer modes as well called Dominion, Brawl, Duel, Skirmish and Elimination. Also, there are 3 different multiplayer arenas for the three different factions. The Map of Legion is a knight map called the Citadel gate. The Map of the Chosen is a samurai map called the Overtwatch. Finally, Map of the Warborn is a viking map called the River fort.
