Final Call for One UI 6 Watch Beta Testers
The One UI 6 Watch stable update is here! Galaxy Watch 6 and 6 Classic beta testers can now install the official release. Learn how to update and what new features to expect.

Samsung has officially ended its One UI 6 Watch Beta program, and the stable update is rolling out now for the Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic! If you were one of the dedicated testers who helped shape this latest update, it’s time to switch to the stable version and enjoy the fruits of your labor.

This announcement comes after months of beta testing, with eight beta releases refining the user experience. The stable One UI 6 Watch update, based on Wear OS 5, brings a host of new features and improvements to enhance your smartwatch experience. But why the rush to switch? Well, Samsung has made it clear that those who remain on the beta will miss out on future updates.

I’ve been using the One UI 6 Watch beta on my Galaxy Watch 6 Classic for the past few months, and I’m excited to finally have the stable version. The beta program was a great opportunity to test out new features and provide feedback to Samsung. While there were occasional bugs, the overall experience was positive, and I’m impressed with the final product.

What’s New in One UI 6 Watch?

This update is packed with enhancements, including:

  • Redesigned Quick Panel: Access essential settings with a more intuitive and customizable Quick Panel.
  • Enhanced Notification Cards: Enjoy clearer and more informative notification cards.
  • New Font: A fresh new font improves readability across the interface.
  • Improved Samsung Health: Track your fitness progress with enhanced Samsung Health features, including the AI-powered Energy Score.
  • Double Pinch Action: Customize this gesture to quickly access your favorite apps or features.
  • Touch-sensitive Always On Display: Interact with your watch even when the display is in Always On mode.

How to Install the Stable Update

For beta testers, installing the stable One UI 6 Watch update is simple:

  • Open the Galaxy Wearable app on your smartphone.
  • Go to Galaxy Watch.
  • Select Watch settings.
  • Click on Watch software update to download and install the new version.

The update size is approximately 140MB, so ensure you have a stable Wi-Fi connection before starting the download.

Important Notes for Beta Testers

  • No new beta versions will be released.
  • Samsung will no longer provide official responses to beta feedback.
  • You will lose access to reviews and suggestions made during the beta phase.
  • If you encounter any issues after installing the stable update, you can submit your feedback through the Samsung Members app.

This is a significant update for Galaxy Watch users, bringing a smoother and more feature-rich experience. If you haven’t already, I encourage you to install the stable One UI 6 Watch update and enjoy the latest advancements in smartwatch technology.
