Feedly + Google integration displays unread stories into Google Now stream

A popular news aggregator application Feedly has partnered with Google, in order to take personalized news reading experience to a whole new level.

As part of this collaboration, Feedly users will now be able to find important stories out of their subscribed news feed right into Google Now stream.

Initially, Feedly and Google Now integration was made available in beta, and the service has witnessed a 14% rise in traffic with the feedly Now cards.

Starting August 5, Feedly has enabled this service to all its users.

How to get going?

If you want to avail feedly Now cards, ensure that you’re using the latest version of Google and Feedly apps on your Android phone. Make sure you’re logged into your Feedly account.

Upon opening the latest Google app, you’ll be prompted to choose whether you want to continue receiving cards from feedly or not. Simply tap “YES, CONTINUE”, and you’re done!

You will also find a link to read more stories, which will take you right inside your Feedly app.
