The Shenzhen-based Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Elephone has launched two new smartphones named Vowney and Vowney Lite. Priced at $299 and $239 respectively, both 4G phablets will be shipped internationally.
The Elephone Vowney features a 5.5-inch 2K display with screen resolution of 1560 x 1440 pixels at 535 PPI. Powered by a 64-bit Helio X10 (MTK6795) 1.9GHz Octa-core processor paired with 4GB of RAM and Power VR G6200 GPU, the handset offers 32GB of internal storage, expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card.
The handset sports a 21MP IMX230 rear snapper with PDAF and a dual-tone flash. On the front, there’s an 8MP selfie camera. The primary camera is capable of recording 4K videos.
Whereas, the Elephone Vowney Lite boasts a 5.5-inch FHD display with screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Powered by a 64-bit Helio X10 (MT6795) 1.9GHz Octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM and Power VR G6200 GPU.
The Vowney Lite features a 21MP IMX230 rear camera with PDAF and dual flash. On the front, the device sports an 8MP secondary camera. The rear camera is capable of recording 4K videos.
Both the dual-SIM smartphones (Elephone Vowney and Vowney Lite) comes with 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, GPS/GLONASS, OTG support, Micro-USB 2.0 and a 3.5mm headset jack. Both the smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and comes with a 4,000 mAh battery.
Another exciting feature that both the smartphone offers is press Touch ID that needs only 0.5 seconds to unlock the phone and comes with a 360-degree rotation fingerprint identification.

Elephone Vowney is available in single color variant i.e. Golden and Elephone Vowney Lite comes in Gray color variant. Both the smartphones are scheduled for pre-order from 26th October to 20th November and shipping begin from 20th November.
