Dell Inc. has launched its brand new entry-level budget 3G voice-calling tablet under Venue series in the Indian market. Dubbed as Dell Venue 7 3741, the tablet is powered by an Intel Atom processor and comes with a price tag of Rs. 7,999.
Commenting on the launch event, Vice President, Consumer and Small Business, Dell India – P. Krishna Kumar said, “The Dell Venue 7 3741 tablet is for those who are eyeing to consume information at ease, with a high level of performance. So whether you are in travelling in a bus or, looking to catch up with friends and family over coffee, the tablet assists as a medium to do more with just one device.”

The single-SIM supporting, Dell Venue 7 3741 features a 7-inch display with a screen resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels.
Powered by a powerful 1.8GHz Intel Atom Z3735G (four cores, 2MB cache) processor coupled with 1GB of DDR3L RAM, the tablet offers 8GB of inbuilt storage space, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD card slot.
The Dell Venue 7 3741 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system out-of-the-box. The device houses a 2MP rear face camera including a 0.3MP VGA front-facing camera for the video calling option.
Connectivity-wise, the Dell Venue 7 3741 tablet offers 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth4.0, Micro USB 2.0 and a 3.5mm audio jack port. A 4,100mAh Li-ion battery fuels the device.
