Dell has released a new 70-inch interactive monitor C7016T with touch support for $4999. Touted as the display for use in the conference room, boardroom or classroom, the new Dell C7016T provides support for Full HD resolution.
Commenting on the release, a Dell spokesperson revealed that the LED light bar backlighting coupled with a 176-degree viewing angle provides the ability for users in the room to view the display clearly with full-color reproduction. Moreover, the unique surface coating not only reduces reflections but also fingerprints, which are common in touch displays.
Equipped with a 10-point touch capability, you will be able to make use of 10 fingers or thumbs either individually or in combination at the same time.
The 10-point touch will be sufficient for a large display and enable multiple people to work with it for various purposes. Alternatively, you can also make use of the two separate styluses if you don’t prefer to use your fingers.
On the connectivity front, the Dell C7016T monitor offers three HDMI, one DisplayPort, and VGA port. You will be able to work with the monitor via RS232 and RJ45 interface that supports remote management.
You can also establish connectivity with an optional Dell Wireless Module WR517 available for $200 to connect to the display wirelessly to eliminate the use of long cables.
Even though there is no separate stand, the monitor ships with a heavy-duty and extra-large tilt wall mount, which should be attached to wall studs. The tilt stand is designed in such a way that the display can be easily mounted without any extra mounting accessories.
The 122-pound display also comes with a magnetized side panel for the placement of two styluses. Furthermore, the remote control included with the display helps you to easily manage the monitor from one single place.
With Dell C7016T, you will be able to work and interact with the display effectively with exceptional touch screen accuracy, sharp content and bright images even in a fully lit small and medium-sized conference rooms. The monitor will be useful for business and educational environments where there is a huge demand for large displays.
Available under Dell’s three-year Advanced Exchange Service, if the Dell C7016T monitor fails during the initial three-year period, Dell will ship a replacement unit the next business day.
