Coldplay tickets sale goes live in India: Here’s how to book online

It’s time to rejoice as the Coldplay concert ticket price is out now. No, you don’t have to shell out a hefty Rs. 25,000 as speculated earlier, but a reasonable amount of Rs. 5,000. The ticket price goes up to Rs. 12,000 (maximum). Beginning today, you can block your seats for the Global Citizen Festival India 2016 to be held on November 19 in Mumbai. The tickets are available on Book My Show, the exclusive partner for the event.

This is the first phase of Coldplay ticket sales where the ticket price starts at Rs. 5,000. After the tickets get sold out in the first phase, there will immediately be the second phase for the same. Besides the early bird tickets, there are special tickets like hospitality and limited tickets that cost a bit higher. The special tickets price starts at Rs. 15,000, and there are added benefits with them as food and beverages.

Early bird Silver costs Rs. 5,000 and Phase 1 General is priced at Rs. 7,500; the Gold ticket costs Rs. 15,000 as it includes exclusive benefits like food & beverages, merchandise, pit-access, and parking facility. In Phase 2, the general ticket will cost Rs. 10,000 and Rs. 15,000 in Phase 3.

Here’s how to book a ticket for the Coldplay concert:

  1. Go to in.bookmyshow.com
  2. You’ll see two options – Silver and Gold
  3. You can choose from early bird option, Phase 1 General, and Gold early bird option
  4. Click the ticket you want to buy and proceed to pay

At the time of writing this article, the early bird tickets priced at Rs. 5,000 are sold out. The Silver early birds, costing Rs. 7,500 per ticket, are available.

The Global Music Festival 2016 will see performances by Jay-Z, and Bollywood celebrities and music maestros like Aamir Khan, Ranveer Singh, Katrina Kaif, Farhan Akhtar, AR Rahman, Arijit Singh, Shankar-Monali Thakur, and more.
