Celkon launches 5-inch display campus A518 for Rs. 4,500 in India

New Delhi – Celkon launched a new budget 5-inch display smartphone of Campus A518 series in India at Rs. 4,500. According to the company’s official statement, the Celkon smartphone will be available in all the retail stores across India, although nothing has been said about its online availability. With this latest launch, Celkon is targeting the budget smartphone market.

Some of its other features include dual-SIM supporting 3G video calling, a 1 GHz processor and RAM of 512MB. It is adapted to the earlier KitKat OS, Android platform and comes with a 2000mAh battery power. For those who simply love to keep on clicking with their mobiles, the phone offers good news and sports a 3.2 megapixel rear camera along with LED flash. A 1.3 megapixel front camera is an added attraction.

Celkon Campus A518 smartphone comes with an internal storage capacity of 4GB that can be expanded up to 32GB using a MicroSD card. This latest phone from Celkon offers Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPRS/EDGE, Bluetooth options and Micro-USB. The phone measures 145x73x9.75mm and weighs 164 g. The Campus A518 is available in Dark Blue and White colors.

Celkon to Launch More Exciting Products

Managing Director and Chairman of Celkon Mobiles, Y Guru said that Celkon is planning to constantly upgrade its products and bring more innovations in them. According to him, the recently launched model of Celkon smartphone has been one-step in the direction of offering an exciting and innovative product to its buyers. The latest Campus A518 model has many stylish add-ons, latest features and comes with a large screen.

Earlier last month Celkon launched Milennia Q450 at a price of Rs. 4799. This smartphone too runs on the Android 4.4.2 KitKat platform. It comes with dual SIM support, display of 4.5 inch FWVGA IPS, 512 MB RAM, 1.3GHz quad-core processor and an inbuilt 4GB storage expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD. A powerful battery of 1800mAh and a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash completes the picture of a perfect budget smartphone.
