CBSE NEET Phase II 2016 Entrance Test details out at aipmt.nic.in

The Central Board of Secondary Education has put out a notice on their Official site, aipmt.nic.in, stating that the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test – II for BDS and MBBS courses will be held on July 24, 2016. The test is meant for students who wish to enroll for the course for the academic year 2016-2017.

Applications that are approved will receive admit cards for the examination, which will be made available on July 8. The admit card will bear essential details about the student such as the student’s name, roll number, signature, DOB, language of examination, photographs, father’s name as well as category and sub-category.

The eligibility criteria for those wishing to make an application as outlined by the Board is that a candidate should have passed Class 12th from a recognized board or institute. General applicants will need to remit a processing fee of Rs. 1,400, whereas SC/ST applicants will need to remit a processing fee of Rs. 750.

The examination will be conducted over a duration of 3 hours (180 minutes) and will feature 180 MCQ’s (multiple choice questions) from the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Zoology and Botany).

Students wishing to appear for the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test – II should make an application on the Official site. The last date for remitting your processing fee online is June 21 whereas physical remittance of processing fees can be done up to June 25th.

The All India Merit List and All India Rank List will be charted out by the governing body on the basis of the results from the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) Phase II. Students will then be enrolled in courses at one of the institutes or universities as prescribed on the official site, on the basis of Existing Reservation Policies.
