Cafe Tresor, an AI-powered premium service center for Apple users recently opened in Connaught Place, New Delhi. The whole idea is to make it easy for customers to register their complaints. As soon as a customer enters Cafe Tresor, he/she is greeted by an AI-powered service assistant, Alisha, who registers their complaint to facilitate a smoother and faster customer experience.
Alisha is equipped with speech recognition, computer vision, Voice-to-Text and Text-to-Voice, that facilitate cognitive interaction with customers. Once a customer’s complaint is registered, Alisha makes sure that an agent is assigned to the customer in a stipulated time for faster checkouts.
“The idea is to provide something new to the customers and address ‘pain-points’, it’s a deviation from the mechanical method,” said Shaurya Seth, Managing Director, Tresor Systems, the promoter of Imagine Store, the exclusive reseller for Apple in India.
Cafe Tresor also has a gaming zone, music station, along with a fitness corner with health gadgets. There’s a co-working space too, where customers can plug their laptops and tablets and continue work while their product is being serviced. Not to mention, they also have a small balcony setup where customers can enjoy a cup of coffee while soaking in the view and hustle bustle of Connaught Place.
“Co-working space is for the target audience, the corporate professionals are running against time and getting a device serviced is a time-consuming activity for them, it’d be easy to plug their devices and make good use of the time while are at the service centre,” further explained Seth.
Cafe Tresor was opened nearly a month ago, and Seth indicates it has already received a decent response with 30-40 customers on a daily basis.
