Budget smartphone Oppo Joy Plus now available in India for Rs. 6990

New Delhi – In a bid to beef up its budget Android lineup, Oppo has launched the Joy Plus smartphone in India which will be going on sale soon. The Joy Plus, which is priced at Rs 6,990 is a successor of Oppo Joy and will be available online and also in stores across the country. The phone’s weight and measurements have been confirmed to be 125g and 124mm x 63mm x 9.9mm irrespectively.

The low-end device is expected to attract some interest among the many groups of people who make phone budgets. Budget is one of the most important factors that many people put into consideration when purchasing a new phone.

This dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) gadget that adorns the company’s ColorOS 2.0 skin on top runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat. It sports a 4-inch WVGA (480x800p) display, white in color and with a frost matte gold frame. You will also find other variants with a blue rear cover and an electroplated frame.

It has a 480×800 pixels resolution, a 1.3GHz, 1GB of RAM and a dual-core processor. Its internal storage of 4GB can be extended via microSD to 32GB. The 3-megapixel rear comes with LED flash, and its front-facing camera is of 0.3-megapixel.

There are phones that you will have to keep recharging, but this is not the case with Joy Plus. It has a 1700mAh battery with Oppo’sColorOS 2.0 connectivity that is taken care of by 3G HSPA+. Other features that will come along with this very exciting device include Bluetooth, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and GPS.

Being a dual SIM handset, can function with either normal + microsim cards. Commenting during the launch, Oppo Mobile India CEO, Tom Lu, said that they are intending to reach across sections since the Indian market is always evolving.

“We shall aggressively penetrate the market and we are confident that Joy Plus will provide a reliable experience to our customers since its features are impressive.”
