German audio maker Blaupunkt has launched another new Bluetooth speaker in India with the Blaupunkt BT-52. It’s essentially an upgrade to the BT-51-BL. And while both speakers look identical there are noticeable differences between the two. The Blaupunkt BT-52 portable Bluetooth speaker offers a 10W audio output, FM Radio, a built-in mic, Bluetooth 4.2, as well as a TF card slot with 32GB storage. Priced at INR 1799, let’s find out if it’s worth the money.
Build and Design
While the Blaupunkt BT-52 may not be much of a looker, but it’s well-constructed. It features a compact, rectangle-shaped design which makes it easy to carry wherever you go. It gets a rubber finish on the outer shell while the front speaker is covered in a mesh-like fabric. The control buttons are housed on top while connectivity ports are housed on the right. These include a memory card slot, a 3.5 audio jack, a micro-USB port, and a power on/off button.
Overall, the speaker’s quality works rather well for the price. It is small enough to tuck into places where it isn’t very noticeable in the room and lightweight enough to take anywhere.
Performance

The company claims that this speaker comes with a powerful battery that can last for more than 6 hours with moderate usage. And, it did last for around five hours for me, even at full volume.
