New Delhi, 14 August 2015: Luxury brand, Porsche Design, and BlackBerry has expanded its premium smartphone line-up in India with the launch of the BlackBerry Porsche Design P’9983 Graphite smartphone. Priced at Rs. 99,990, the new luxury QWERTY smartphone will soon be available for purchase from selected authorized BlackBerry store across India.
Firstly launched in May, the BlackBerry Porsche Design P’9983 Graphite is the fourth smartphone unveiled in collaboration between BlackBerry and Porsche Design, which combines a unique, stylish design from an iconic, eternal brand. It features exclusive graphite-metallic colored elements sporting hand-wrapped leather on the back door cover.

As per specifications, the Porsche Design P’9983 Graphite features the same innards as the Porsche Design P’9983 smartphone. It packs a 3.1-inch (720 x 720p) HD Touchscreen with intuitive gesture based navigation and the pixel density of 330 PPI. Under the hood, the smartphone packed by a Dual Core 1.5GHz Qualcomm MSM8960 processor coupled with 2GB RAM, and 64GB inbuilt storage space (expandable up to 128GB via microSD card slot).
The BlackBerry P’9983 Graphite runs on latest BlackBerry 10 OS out-of-the-box. It sports an 8MP auto-focus rear snapper with LED flash and a 2MP fixed-focus camera with 3X digital zoom.
On the connectivity front, the Porsche Design P’9983 Graphite smartphone comes with 4G LTE support, 3G HSPA+, Quad Band EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, 4G Mobile Hotspot, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS, GLONASS Support, Micro HDMI, Micro USB 2.0 and a 3.5mm Audio Jack port.
The BlackBerry P’9983 Graphite is fueled by a 2,100 mAh removable battery, which company y touts to deliver up to 14 hours talk time (3G) and up to 12 hours standby time (2G/3G).
