BlackBerry Motion Water Resistant Android smartphone surfaces in press images

BlackBerry BBD100-1 codenamed Krypton which was earlier certified for Bluetooth SIG and Wi-Fi, and now the smartphone first press image is being leaked by popular leakster @evleaks and also confirmed that it would be launched as BlackBerry Motion. The picture clearly shows the design of it which comes with BlackBerry icon on the front, and huge bezels on top and bottom of the screen.

The company’s François Mahieu, head of global sales for TCL has already confirmed that the smartphone will come with the IP67 rating for water resistance at the IFA event a while ago. Furthermore, the device is expected to sport a 1080p display and will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625/626 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and a massive 4000mAh battery and might run on Android 7.1 Nougat with Stock like U.I on top.

The device is expected to go official later this month at a special event, and till then leaks are what we have. We are yet to know the camera details and additional functions that the device might feature. So, stay tuned for more information about the same.
