BlackBerry Motion with 5.5-inch 1080p display, 4000mAh battery announced

Two days after surfacing on the internet, the BlackBerry Motion is finally launched. The device sports a 5.5-inches 1080p display and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM.  The BlackBerry Motion comes in Black color and is priced at Dh 1,699 (US$ 462 / Rs. 30,210 approx.) in UAE and 1,699 Riyal (US$ 453 / Rs. 29590 approx.) in Saudi Arabia.  It is available for pre-order from all leading retailers in the UAE and KSA starting today and will roll out in other markets soon.

BlackBerry Motion Specifications:

The BlackBerry Motion sports a 5.5-inches Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display with 403 PPI and DragonTrail Glass protection and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC clocked at 2GHz Octa-Core 14nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 506 GPU. There is 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage that is further expandable up to 2TB. The BlackBerry Motion runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box.

In the camera department, there is a 12-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, Sony IMX378 sensor, 1.55μm pixel size, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF and can record 4K videos. On the front is an 8-megapixel shooter with 1.12µm pixel size, f/2.2 aperture. The device rocks the Fingerprint sensor and is also Water resistant (IP67). Connectivity features include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4 & 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS / GLONASS, NFC. A 4000mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0
