New Delhi – BlackBerry, the much-acclaimed handset maker is gearing up to launch the virtual SIM solution by the end of the year. According to Sunil Lalvani, India Managing Director, BlackBerry, the company officials is in talk with the telecom operators and the regulatory authorities in India.
The company is planning to launch its virtual SIM solutions, which will enable the users to use nine mobile numbers through only one SIM card.
Lalvani told the reporters that the company has applied for clearance from the regulatory authorities and even pilots to check the solution is underway with the operators in the country. The handset maker last year acquired Movirtu, a virtual identity solutions provider to improve its services to its enterprise customers.
The all-new transformed BlackBerry is soon to come up with its offerings in the Indian market. The smartphone maker company from Canada has now transformed into an enterprise facing Software Company. According to Lalvani, the company now knows that its strength is in being the most secure smartphone ecosystem.
BlackBerry to Offer Security and Strength to Devices
The ability of BlackBerry to provide the best virtual typing experience with the highly updated keyboard is unmatched by any other smartphone maker. BlackBerry is soon to come up with its new big launch-the slider. The slider will provide more strength to the devices.
Although the smartphones of BlackBerry are shrinking and becoming sleeker, it is now ready to tap the big opportunities by providing security to other smartphones of varying shapes and sizes irrespective of the brand.
The mix of Classic and Passport devices along with the highly updated services from BlackBerry and the software has increased the growth of the company from quarter to quarter. Lalvani has said that the company is now trying to reach its core customers by offering a new product to them.
