Binatone Launches ‘App Star’ Tablet for Kids at Rs. 9,999

Days ago, we learned the British-based DataWind launched 3 new lines of UbiSlate tablet devices. Today, it’s Binatone’s turn! Electronics Company Binatone has launched its first android-based tablet PC, App Star for kids.

Suitable for kids of 4 years and above, App star comes with preloaded fun games, educational apps, art studios, e-books, audio-books, music player and camera with video recorder for Rs 9,999. The device has already been launched in UK and other European markets.

The international version of Binatone App Star comes with 250 preloaded application and 5600 more apps that kids can download and enjoy on their devices. In India also we expect the same to be made available along with the very useful bumper case that the tablet ships with to protect it from damages.

The new entrant to the tablet market boasts a 7-inch capacitative touch screen and has a special cover which is capable of protecting the device from any damage if dropped from a table height.
