Bharti Airtel offers prepaid data for postpaid corporate plans to customers

Bharti Airtel introduced a plan that enables corporate customers to use prepaid data on their respective postpaid data plans. The scheme is targeting customers who cannot access the internet through their company’s connection since most companies policies don’t allow subscription of data packs in their plans.

Most of the employees are therefore forced to have two handsets or SIMS to access the internet. Bharti Airtel has begun sending messages to concerned users about the new prepaid service and have noted a positive response.

Customers on a corporate plan can initiate a simple prepaid recharge plan on their number and start using data without having to worry about this expense being part of the post-paid bill. Customers will have first to sign up for the plan and then select their desired tariff. Prepaid tariffs are starting Rs 99.

Bharti Airtel’s Srinivasan Gopalan said that flexibility is the primary aim of what the company is intended to deliver with the introduction of a postpaid plan. Airtel myPlan offers infinite choices to customers who can create their mobile plans.

With the introduction of Prepaid data on the Postpaid, Bharti Airtel aims to provide enhanced flexibility to its corporate customers while at the same time simplifying their data experience

Bharti Airtel recently started to offer 4G services. The company noted that it had achieved 135 Mbps speeds on available mobile phones on Bharti Airtel’s 4G network in Kerala. To provide these high speeds, Bharti Airtel has utilized carrier aggregation across LTEFDD and TD-LTE on a live 4G network.

Through this initiative, Bharti Airtel is the first mobile operator in India to deploy LTE commercially- Advanced (4G+) technology. For the carrier aggregation, Bharti Airtel has combined the capacities of its 1800 MHz and 2300 MHz spectrum bands

Bharti Airtel’s introduction of 4G+ is part of Project Leap program through which it is planning to invest Rs 60,000 crore in the next three years with the aim of upgrading its data and voice services infrastructure with the goal of raising the quality of service it offers.
