Bentley Flying Spur makes Debut in Indian Market

British car maker, Bentley Motors Limited showcased its much awaited 4-door sedan version of luxurious Continental GT – Bentley Flying Spur at International Geneva Motor Show in March this year. Fast forward 6 months, the car has come to India.

Flying Spur luxury car boasts completely new design compared to its older version Continental GT. It is the most powerful four-door Bentley ever made with heavily revised chassis, capable of extending an ultimate motoring experience not only to the driver but also to passengers.

Chris Buxton, Regional Manager of Bentley Motors Limited for India, South Africa and Middle East said-

India is the hub of luxury, the country of erstwhile Maharaj’s, who were the true patrons of bespoke luxury. We have, in the past received a heartening response from our valued customers and I think the launch of the new Flying Spur will truly delight our loyal and discerning audience. The new model is faster and more powerful than its predecessor, while also featuring enhanced cabin technology and even higher levels of comforts and refinement.”

The auto giant’s latest offering to Indian market has been carved out carefully. From the outside, one can notice the caris narrower but longer, the body looks sharp with smooth curves. The front-side with twin head lamps adorns a wide chrome grille and the rear is fitted with lamps with LED cluster and chrome detailing. The roof comes in glass or leather covering.

Interiors have been hand-crafted by expert Bentley’s craftsmen.  The company claims there are 600 new parts. The seats have been redesigned and have four or five-seat layout option. There are electrically operated blinds for rear windows. Besides, there’s a 10-inch screen for the passengers on the rear seat for entertainment.

Speaking of performance, Flying Spur as the name suggests does a 0-100kmph time of 4.6 seconds and tops out at 322kmph. Also, minor tweaks have been performed to keep cabin noise to a minimum.

Bentley Flying Spur car comes with a price figure Rs.3.1 Crore (ex-showroom Delhi).
