CES 2016: Audio-Technica Introduces AT-LP60-BT Wireless Turntable

Recently, Audio-Technica introduced AT-LP60-BT, a latest turntable having wireless capabilities. With this turntable, users can listen to records with Bluetooth technology for playing back vinyls automatically through headphones, Bluetooth speakers and AV receivers.

It has a capability of remembering 8 devices at a time and hence can be paired up readily whenever the user wishes to listen.

The marketing manager of Audio-Technica, Crystal Griffith commented that wireless systems such as smart TVs and speakers have broadened expectations with regards to home entertainment.

He further added that with the new AT-LP60-BT, the vinyl and turntable can be kept in 1 room and records can be added virtually. All you have do is push the play button, after which the turntable would be seen taking over. The stylus would be placed at the beginning of the record and then it would be lifted up, letting the arm to be in rest position after the side is over.

The turntable features a 11-1/3 and 45 RPM speed selector which is supportive of vinyl  formats right from 7 inch-12 inch singles and LP albums. It also sports a built-in switchable phono preamp which can have a wired or wireless connection with various speakers and home entertainment systems that don’t support Bluetooth Connectivity.

It boasts of Audio-Technica’s Dual Moving Magnet stereo cartridge, replaceable stylus, removable dust cover,  a 45 RPM adapter as well as RCA output cables. This wireless turntable is available in navy, white and black color variants with a price tag of  $179.95.
