Audi Looks set for an impressive overhaul. The luxury car manufacturer will launch its flagship Audi A8L with some cosmetic upgrades. The launching event saw prominent socialites and celebrities like Nicolas Cage attending it at a two day grand event held in Dubai. Venue for the launch was Burj Khalifa, a magnificent centerpiece of Downtown Dubai and a world-class destination.
Audi launches new upgraded version of ‘A8L’
To make the 4-wheel vehicle more appealing, the German car manufacturer is readily offering a host of customization options to its customers in different manifestations.
For instance, there is option to choose from impressive 100 exterior colors, 23 options of interior colours and 12 different wood finish to choose from.
Joe King, Head, Audi India said, “With the launch of the new Audi A8L, I am confident that we will further consolidate our leadership position in the market. Audi is offering intricate personalization and can even emboss the new Audi A8L’s seats with the customer’s personal logo.”
What may disappoint Indian buyers is that the new Audi A8L will be imported to India as CBU (Completely Built Unit), and hence would attract additional duties that subsequently add up to the cost of the car.
Beginning today, the New Audi A8L will be available in Audi showrooms across India. The upgraded version of Audi flagship model A8L will cost around Rs 1.11 crore.
Audi India was the first luxury car manufacturer in India to cross the 10,000 sales mark in not just the calendar year but also in the financial year. In opinion of the company, it is this achievement that has driven them to make the move.
