Following the launch of the Zenfone Selfie back in 2015, the Taiwanese manufacturer has now launched a new version of the Zenfone Selfie (ZD551KL) in India. Priced at Rs. 12,999, the smartphone is now available on Amazon India and will be across retail outlets in India from September onwards.

Asus Zenfone Selfie Specs
Primarily designed for the selfie smitten, the new Zenfone Selfie also features high performance. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor bundled with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage expandable up to 128 GB. The smartphone runs Android 5.0.2 Lollipop out of the box.
It flaunts a diamond cut back, aimed at giving users a premium design experience. Key features of the smartphone include a 13MP front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture, wide angle (88-degree) lens, along with a dual color real-tone flash and selfie panorama. The device also enhances macro photography as it allows users to capture objects over 6cm.
The Zenfone Selfie features a raft of photography modes which include, auto, manual, HDR, beautification, super resolution, low light, night, depth of field, effect, selfies, GIF animation, panorama, miniature, time rewind, smart remove, all smiles and time lapse. While there’s also a 13MP rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture, auto-laser focus lens and a dual-color real tone flash.
Other specifications of the device include a 5.5-inch full HD IPS display and packs a 3000 mAh non-removable battery. It also supports fast charging mode and comes with a 10W wall charger, where it charges 60 per cent of the battery in just about a half an hour. In terms of dimensions, the device measures 156.5 x 77.2 x 10.8-3.9mm and weighs in at 170 grams.
It is available in a range of colours options which include Glacier Gray, Sheer Gold, Polygon-Illusion Diamond White, Illusion Polygon Blue, and Illusion Smooth Pink.
The dual SIM smartphone is equipped with a plethora of connectivity features such as including 4G, 3G, 2G and Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n. In addition, the new Asus Zenfone selfie Asus also comes with a host of sensors which include Accelerometer, Proximity sensor, Gyro, E Compass, Ambient light sensor and Hall sensor.
